Q: How do I apply to volunteer
in Israel?
You can apply on-line. You can also contact our
offices if you would like an application form mailed
or want to apply through the phone. Click here for the volunteer application form.
Q: If
I apply, am I automatically accepted into the program?
Your online application
is the first step in the process, after which you
will be contacted by a local Livnot representative
for a personal interview. The interview will acquaint
you with details of the program, and we expect that
the majority of volunteers will qualify. It is also
a chance for us to get to know you and make sure
the program is suitable for your needs.
Q: Why do I need to send
in photos?
We want to get to know
you and having a picture on file is helpful. Also
it helps us when we go to meet you in the airport
for the first time - we know to whom to say "hi"!
You can send us a digital one in .jpg format by
clicking here
(livapp@livnot.com) and attaching a picture
of yourself. A clear frontal face view is ideal.
Q: How will I know if I am accepted?
Livnot will contact you
by e-mail or by phone. After acceptance, we will
e-mail you an acceptance package.
Q. Is there anything after Livnot
once we return to America and Canada?
Livnot sponsors an organization
called Alumot, which sponsors and organizes events
for Livnot and other program alumni across America
and Canada. See the Alumot
activities for more information. You are invited
to participate in any of the activities.
